4. SERVICE FEES & PAYMENT

4.1 Service Charges

All service fees are clearly communicated before processing begins. Fees vary based on service type, complexity, and government charges.

4.2 Government Fees

Government processing fees, embassy charges, and third-party costs are additional to our service fees and are passed on to clients at actual cost.

4.3 Payment Terms

  • Payment is required before service commencement unless credit terms are explicitly agreed in writing

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card

  • All payments are in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise agreed

4.4 Non-Refundable Fees

Some government fees and third-party charges may be non-refundable once paid. We will advise you of such charges before processing.

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information for all services. softlinkuae is not liable for rejections or delays caused by incorrect information provided by clients.

5.2 Document Authenticity

You confirm that all documents provided are genuine and legally obtained. softlinkuae reserves the right to verify documents with issuing authorities.

5.3 Timely Response

You agree to respond promptly to requests for additional information, documents, or signatures. Delays in client response may affect service timelines.

6. SERVICE TIMELINES

6.1 Estimated Timeframes

All service timelines provided are estimates based on standard processing times. Actual processing depends on government authorities, embassies, or third parties.

6.2 Delays

softlinkuae is not responsible for delays caused by government systems, public holidays, strikes, or force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.

6.3 Urgent Services

Where urgent processing is requested and available, additional fees may apply. We will advise of these fees before processing.

7. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

7.1 Service Cancellation by Client

  • If you cancel before any work has commenced: 100% refund of service fees (government fees already paid may be non-refundable)

  • If work has commenced but not completed: Partial refund based on work completed

  • If service is completed: No refund

7.2 Service Failure by softlinkuae

If we fail to deliver a service due to our error, we will:

  • Rectify the issue at no additional cost, OR

  • Provide a full refund of our service fees (government fees subject to third-party policies)

7.3 Visa/Application Rejections

Visa rejections and application denials are at the discretion of government authorities. softlinkuae does not guarantee approvals and is not liable for rejections. Our service fees for application preparation are non-refundable in case of rejection.

8. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SPECIFIC TERMS

8.1 Project Scope

Software development projects begin with a detailed scope of work agreed in writing. Any changes outside this scope may require additional fees.

8.2 Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the intellectual property rights to custom software developed for you, excluding third-party libraries and frameworks.

8.3 Warranties

We provide a 30-day warranty for bug fixes on delivered software. This does not cover changes requested after project completion.

12.1 Data Collection

We collect personal information necessary to provide our services, including passport copies, Emirates ID, contact details, and other documents.

12.2 Data Usage

Your information is used only to deliver requested services and comply with legal requirements.

12.3 Data Sharing

  • Embassies and consulates

  • Airlines and travel partners

  • Other third parties directly involved in your service
